Frequently Asked Questions
Which TOG should I choose for my baby's room?
Choose this 1.0 TOG bag for air-conditioned rooms of around 20 to 22°C. If the room is warmer, choose the 0.5 TOG Blue Trains Pooh Sleeping Bag. At around 20°C, dress baby in a long-sleeve sleepsuit underneath. At 22°C, a short-sleeve onesie. At 24°C and above, a sleeveless onesie.
Can I add baby's name?
Yes. The name is embroidered on the left chest. Embroidery thread makes the fabric a little stiffer where the name is stitched, so it sits on the chest, away from baby's face.
Is this a good gift for a new baby?
Yes. A sleeping bag is something parents use every night, and adding baby's name makes it a keepsake. It is a popular choice for full-month, 100 days and baby shower gifts.

Step by step
How to use your sleeping bag
Our sleeping bag is a wearable blanket. It replaces loose bedding in the cot, so baby stays covered all night.
- 1
Dress baby for the room, using the TOG guide below: a sleepsuit for a cold aircon room, a short-sleeve onesie at around 22°C, or a sleeveless onesie at 24°C and above.
- 2
Slide baby in feet first and zip up from the bottom.
- 3
Fold the zip guard over the top so the zip does not touch baby's chin.
- 4
For nappy changes, unzip from the bottom only. There is no need to take the bag off.

Common questions
Everything parents ask
From safe sleep to Singapore room temperatures.
What is the difference between a sleeping bag and a blanket?
A sleeping bag is worn on the body. Baby is zipped inside, so it stays in place all night, even when they wriggle or roll. A loose blanket can shift, bunch up or cover baby's face, which is why loose blankets are not recommended in the cot for babies under 12 months.
Are sleeping bags safe for babies?
Yes, when you choose the right TOG for the room and the right size. A sleeping bag cannot slip over baby's face the way a loose blanket can. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends wearable blankets instead of loose bedding in the cot.
When should I switch from a swaddle to a sleeping bag?
As soon as baby shows signs of trying to roll, which can be as early as 3 months. That is the point to stop swaddling. A sleeping bag keeps baby covered with arms and legs free.
What TOG do I need in Singapore?
Use 0.2 TOG for fan-only or non-aircon rooms of 24°C and above. Use 0.5 TOG for warm rooms of around 22°C and above. Use 1.0 TOG for air-conditioned rooms of around 20 to 22°C, with a sleepsuit underneath at the colder end. See the TOG guide above for what baby should wear underneath.
Will the sleeping bag make my baby too hot?
Not when the TOG matches the room temperature. The sleeveless cut lets baby release heat through their arms. Do a quick neck check before you go to bed: warm and dry is right, sweaty means too warm.
How long will my baby fit in it?
Each bag has extra length, so baby grows into it. It still fits while baby has room to stretch and kick at the bottom, and the neck and armholes are snug enough that baby cannot slip down inside.
