The Green range is sustainably made with recycled canvas and rubber to take care of our children's feet and our planet.
Friction with rough surfaces such as outdoor flooring can wear it out prematurely. Originals especially are made out of extra soft material.

Frequently Asked Questions - Tip Toey Joey
Yes. No wrestling, no squishing. These shoes are made with parents in mind too.
Just pull back the Original Stretch&Stay™ elastic heels and slide the shoe over baby's ankles.
We especially love TTJs with velcro stripes which make the best fit for every type of foot.
We don't recommend based on age. We recommend shoes based on stage of walking. This is because children start walking at different ages and it would be best to get them fitted when they are ready to use these shoes.
We recommend checking our sizing guide or popping by our store to find the right size. Little feet grow fast, and these shoes are made to grow gently with them.
- Measure both feet while standing.
- If one foot is slightly larger, use the bigger foot as your guide.
- Allow about a thumb’s width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe.
- Ensure the heel is secure and not slipping.
We don’t carry half sizes, but we recommend that you fit to the larger foot. The smaller foot will adjust.
Shoes that are slightly roomier give their feet space to grow - just make sure:
- There’s about 1 cm of space at the toe (roughly a thumb’s width).
- The heel fits snugly and doesn’t slip.
- The shoe bends easily at the ball of the foot.
❌ What not to do:
- Don’t size down to match the smaller foot
- Don’t assume they’ll “break in” the tight side
- Don’t rely on growing into it if it’s already uncomfortable
A very common problem.
Fit to the larger foot for comfort and safety. You can improve the fit on the smaller foot with:
- Slightly thicker socks
- A removable insole or cushioned heel pad
Styles with velcro straps, elastic laces, or buckles are great for in-between sizes and different foot shapes. They let you adjust the fit individually for each foot.
It’s time to size up when:
- Your child’s toes are <5 mm from the edge
- You see the leather stretching visibly
- Your child trips more often
- The shoe becomes harder to put on
Check sizing every 2–3 months - toddlers grow quickly!
