This hooded robe is made of a slightly thicker terry cotton which you can throw over a swimsuit or trunks! Except for size 0-2 years, the sides of the older sizes are stiched so the robe will not fly open when it's windy and will keep kids warm. For 0-2 years, we have left the sides loose so parents can easily bundle the robe before carrying their children.
