1. How do I order your CNY2020 collection?

2. Where is your retail store?

Selected pieces of our CNY2020 collection will only be available at our store from 10 a.m. on 30th Dec 2019 (Monday). We will be open from 10 am - 4 pm on 31st Dec 2019 (Tues) and 1st Jan 2020 (Wed).

The Elly Store is located at #02-31/33, Cluny Court, 501 Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 259760.

Cluny Court is next to the Botanic Gardens MRT station on the Downtown line and Circle Line.) Watch our video for how to get to our store from the MRT station.

Parking at Cluny Court: There is a small car park inside Cluny Court. There are 2 more car parks nearby at Botanic Gardens (near the Melati Gate) and Serene Centre. Click on this link for information on parking at Cluny Court.

3. Is your collection ready for purchase?

The entire CNY2020 collection will be available for purchase online on 26th Dec. We will only be packing orders from 31st Dec 2019 after the launch event.

4. I have purchased your CNY2020 collection online. Can I opt for store collection? 

Yes you may opt for store collection (no shipping code needed and it's free). You will be notified via email when your order is ready for collection in-store. 

Orders received from 26th to 31st Dec 2019 will take longer to pack and we expect to send them out by 6th January 2020.  From 2nd January 2020, we expect to take up to 5 working days to pack your order.

If you'd like to receive the items immediately, please join us at our launch event at Coleman Room, Lv 4 Four Points by Sheraton on 4th & 5th January 2020! 

5. I have purchased your CNY2020 collection online and have opted for standard courier in Singapore. When can I expect to receive my order? 

We will only start packing online orders from 31st Dec 2019. Orders received from 26th to 30th Dec will take longer to pack and we expect to send them out by 6th Jan 2020. If you need the items sooner, please head straight to our launch event at Four Points by Sheraton. From 2nd Jan 2020, we expect to take up to 5 working days to pack your order.

You will receive a tracking number once the item is with the courier.

Please factor in the time needed to pack your orders. Once the orders have been packed:

(1) Standard courier customers can expect their parcels within 3 days after it has been picked up by the courier. Delivery is anytime between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m..

(2) Express courier customers can expect their parcels on the same day once the item is with the courier. Delivery is usually between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.. 

(2) International customers can expect to receive their packages within 10-12 business days after shipping. 

Do note that our courier may experience delays during this peak season. If you need your order urgently, please visit our store at Cluny Court to make your purchase.

6. Do you have an online launch promotion?

The first 100 customers who spend over $250 will get a free tote bag which will come in useful during CNY. Use the code CNYBAG2020 when you checkout.

*Do note that due to our website limitations, only ONE code can be used for one transaction. You will not be able to utilise your rewards dollars together with this code.

You might have received our first shopping bag which we had given out during our Annual Clearance Sale earlier in July. We had such positive feedback from customers who used it for weekly library and grocery trips that we decided to expand our sustainability collection. 

We've designed our second resuable bag for CNY. Instead of bringing around mini paper bags for oranges, use our new ang pao bag to store oranges, ang paos and snacks for the kids when you go visiting throughout the day.

7. Do you have any promotion during your Launch Event?

Yes we do! To celebrate the biggest launch event for our Elly CNY 2020 collection, we'll be setting up a photobooth area where you can take fun photos with your whole family. 

In addition, 

(1) Get a free CNY tote bag when you spend $250 and above. No code needed. 

(2) If you’ve shopped our CNY2020 collection, enjoy 10% off all shoes in-store when you bring your launch receipt to our Cluny Court store to shop between 27th Dec 2019 and 12th Jan 2020.

8. Can I amend or change my online order after it has been made? 

We try our best to pack your orders as soon as we get them to ensure it is processed and delivered promptly, which means we are unable to amend or cancel any orders after confirmation.

However, if you would like to exchange any items you have received, once you've received your item, you can bring all full-priced items to the store to exchange within 14 days of purchase. Do read about our exchange policy below.

9. Do you allow exchanges if sizes do not fit?

Yes. Only for full-priced items.

- All exchanges must be made within 14 days of date of purchase and in-store with the item and invoice/receipt/gift receipt. All items must have all their tags on, must not have been used/worn or washed, and be in a re-saleable condition.

- Exchanges may be made for any item in-store (i.e. different size of the same item, or another item). Alternatively, you may also opt for store credits which must be used fully within 3 months from the date of issue.

- On the rare occasion that the full-priced item purchased is defective, we will first offer to swop the item for another piece of the same item. If that is unavailable, we will offer a full cash refund to you.

- We do not offer exchanges or refunds on any sale/discounted item. Please check all purchases for defects carefully. Please note that if you are buying a sale item as a gift, the recipient will not be permitted to exchange the item.

10. Is the fabric material this year the same as CNY2019?

Every year, we choose to work with 100% cotton for our kids' cheongsams, shirts and shorts (or 95% / 5% spandex for jerseys) because we believe these make the best clothes for CNY. We also continue to search each year for new 100% cotton fabrics to keep improving the quality for our customers.

This year, we will be using a softer cotton for our collection compared to CNY2019 to keep you and your kids feeling relaxed and comfortable all day long! 

We’ve introduced different textures of polyester fabric for our new ladies kimono tops and 2-way camisole top. Whilst we try not to work with polyester as far as possible, normal woven cottons cannot achieve the same drape for women’s styles.

11. Are there new designs for CNY2020?

(i) You can expect lots of new designs this year! Look out for: 
- a new Belle onesie from 3M to 24M;

- a new twirly cheongsam in 3Y to XS; 

- a new Naomi Racerback Dress for both ladies (S to XL) and girls with a sporty twist (3Y to XS); 

- a new drawstring dress for ladies (S to XL). Great for hiding baby bumps (or food bumps!);

- a new kimono for ladies (S to L) and a white camisole top to wear inside (S to XL); 

- a new 2-way camisole top for ladies (S to XL) and a new red pleated skirt to match (XS to XL); 

- a new lace sleeve cheongsam for ladies (S to XL); 

- a new glow-in-the-dark shorts (12M to XS); 

- new colours of Charlie shorts in salmon, sea blue, grey and cream (12M to XS).

**Due to licensing reasons, our 14Y size is now XS. For adults, our range starts from Small to X-Large.

(ii) We have brought back our classic, flare, waisted and drop-waist cheongsams and rompers and shirts, from 3M to 2Y for the baby collection and 3Y to XS for most of our kids range.

(iii) You can also find our lace twinning collection - our Lace Cheongsam for ladies (S to XL) and girls (12M to XS).

(iv) We know how much kids like to be comfortable when they play so there will be  everyday summer styles in CNY prints: 

- our favourite tween styles for girls - Summer Dress, Hayley Dress and Sleeveless Playsuit (3Y to XS); 

- two Little Man Shirts (sizes 12M to XS) for casual wear as well.

In summary, our CNY 2020 collection will be our biggest collection ever!

- For girls, we have 15 Cheongsams (6 in our classic A-line cut, 2 waisted, 2 twirly and 5 drop waist), 2 Lace Cheongsams, 1 Racerback Jersey Cheongsam, 3 Summer Dresses, 1 Sleeveless Playsuit and 4 Hayley Dresses!

- For baby girls, we have 4 Flare Cheongsams, 6 Mia Onesies, 1 Kira Onesie and 3 Belle onesies. 

- For ladies, we have 2 Lace Peplum Cheongsams, 1 Printed Lace-Sleeve Cheongsam, 1 Drawstring Dress, 1 Racerback Jersey Cheongsam, 3 Kimono Tops and 5 camisole tops. 

- For boys, we have 14 Mandarin-collared Shirts, 2 Little Man Shirts and 1 Polo Tee!

- For baby boys, we have 7 Mandarin-collared Rompers, 2 Polo Rompers and 2 Short-sleeve Rompers.

- For men, we have 8 Shirts and 1 Polo Tee.

12. Can we try the pieces before we order online?


If you’d like to try the clothing before purchase, we recommend that you drop by our Launch Event at Level Four, Coleman Room, Four Points by Sheraton Riverview anytime from 9 a.m. on Sat, 4th Jan 2020. 

Alternatively, you can drop by any of our stockists to take a look. Each stockist will hold a part of the collection. 

13. Do you have the measurements of the collection?

The chest and length measurements will be uploaded on our website when the collection is launched. Just click on the product you are interested in to check the flat lay measurements.

Our measurements are taken laid flat and are subjected to a 0.5" allowance. We would suggest comparing our flatlay specs against a dress or shirt your child is wearing now to see how the size compares. If you require any other measurement not already provided, it is best to go to the store to try on the outfit before purchase.

Please check the measurements of each item carefully before making your purchase online.

15. How do we understand your sizing?
If your baby is an average 12M, we would recommend you order Size 12M if he/she is between 12 months and 18 months if you prefer the clothes to be fitted. If he/she is between 18 months and 24 months, you should order 2Y. This is only an approximate guide. We would recommend that you check the measurements carefully.

16. You have not answered my Facebook message / instagram DM / email / call. When can I expect response?

We apologise that during peak season, we are unable to respond to queries regularly or on a timely basis. Please check these FAQs first to see if you can find your answers here!

17. I haven’t been able to purchase an item because it is sold out online. Will it be restocked online?

- Sign up for a restock notification so we can assist to locate stock. Even if something is sold out, it may be restocked later if someone else does a size swap.

- Drop us a message so we can assist to locate stock. Do bear with us as we may take longer to respond during peak period. 

- You might also try calling one of our stockists to see if they have stock (see list  below).

18. Do you have any stockists for your CNY2020 collection?

Yes. Each of our stockists will carry selected prints from our CNY2020 collection. We aim to stock them all by 5th January 2020.

19. If I haven’t been able to purchase an item which sold out during the online launch on 26th Dec 2019, will I still be able to purchase it later on?

Come by our launch event and view the entire collection! 

If you're trying to get a twinning set, do drop us a message and we'll do our best to locate the missing sizes for you! We know how important it is to secure all pieces in your twinning set and will do our best to help!  

20. How do you care for the clothing?

Cotton (with non-metallic prints) - We recommend cold hand wash with very mild detergent with similar colours. Rinse until water runs clear then gently wring out each garment before hanging. Do not soak, bleach or tumble dry.

Cotton (with metallic prints) - Same as above. Iron on reverse. 

Lace - Dry clean recommended.

21. Do you take reservations?

We apologise that we are unable to take reservations for our CNY2020 collection. Please purchase the items directly online or in-store.
