Biomecanics resulted from a joint research project between Spanish shoe-maker Garvalin and the Biomecanica Institute of Valencia. Biomecanics shoes are strong, durable but also light, flexible and breathable.
Bioevolution is recommended for maturation and improvement of the gait of kids aged 1.5 to 8 years. Bioevolution is a shoe capable of withstanding intensive use and providing great freedom of movement.
If your child is in their crawling stage and first steps, we recommend Biogateo which is designed for ages 9 to 24 months. Biogateo provides conditions similar to those of walking barefoot in uncontrolled environments when footwear is necessary, providing the security they need without losing stimuli.

For confident walkers, from about 1.5 to 8 years. Resistant, comfortable footwear for continuous use, with a last that adjusts to the shape of children's feet using 3D measurement data of the European child population.
Evolutive last: feet do not grow the same at certain stages. The evolutionary last of Bioevolution collects these variations, with a shoe more adapted to the growth of the foot.
Flexibility: the sole, with its flex and friction grooves, allows flexibility as the gait matures.
Stability: the soft stabiliser and the wider base at the heel are reduced when the child's gait is already consolidated.
Wear: the wear patterns of shoes in children of these ages have been analysed, and a reinforced toe cap has been designed for greater resistance to friction.
Resistant: designed to withstand intensive use while providing great freedom of movement.
Setup: the adhesive tape closure system prevents chafing and makes the shoe easy to fit. The padded tongue prevents hyper-pressure on the back of the foot.
Also included: a removable antibacterial flat insole, a braking zone, and a thermal comfort, micro-perforated leather lining for maximum breathability. Made with natural materials free of phthalates, chrome and nickel. Available in sizes 24 to 34.

Remove dirt with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rub footwear with a dry cloth. Never put it near a heat source. Once dry, you can use a neutral colourless cream for footwear to hydrate the skin (not necessary for textiles and synthetics).
Do not machine wash. Keep in mind that these type of shoes that are put in the washing machine absorb a lot of water and often do not dry completely before use. If they are damp, and along with the body heat, mold can appear. This will cause a bad smell and also increases the possibility of foot fungus.
How to clean the insoles of these shoes
- Follow instructions above.
- In order to extend the life of the insoles as much as possible, we recommend aerating them after each use.
- All the antibacterial insoles offer high breathability and absorption. Most of our designs have removable insoles which you can remove to dry.
