Yes! Our bamboo muslin is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been independently tested and is free from over 100 harmful substances. Bamboo is also naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, making it especially kind to newborn skin that hasn't yet built its protective barrier.
It really does - this is one of bamboo muslin's most loved qualities. You'll notice a difference after the very first wash, and by the third wash it's noticeably softer and more pliable. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle (no fabric softener needed - bamboo does this naturally) and it will stay soft for years.
Yes. Every blanket is beautifully packaged inside an elly box. If you'd like to make it extra special, you can add an embroidered name at checkout and put it in an elly gift box. The personalised version takes up to 2 working days to prepare, so order at 4 working days before you need it for a specific occasion.
Yes. Our blanket uses 4-layer muslin construction - warm enough for a well air-conditioned room (around 23–26°C) but breathable enough to prevent overheating. For very cold aircon settings below 22°C, pair with a long-sleeve onesie underneath. Feel the back of baby's neck during sleep - warm but not sweaty means they're just right.
