What can my tween wear for CNY if she thinks cheongsams look too young?
Choose the Kodi Jumpsuit (S$68.90, 8Y to 16Y), which has a halter mandarin neckline and jade buttons, or pair a printed Ashley Top (S$42.90, 8Y to 16Y) with Nicole Pants (S$42.90, 6Y to 14Y). For a dress, the Blair Dress (S$81.90, 4Y to 16Y) has flutter sleeves, a tiered skirt and a tie waist.
Which cheongsam suits an older girl?
Choose the Cheongsam (S$74.90, 4Y to 14Y). It is straight-cut and midi length, with capped sleeves, side slits for walking and a double lining, so it looks grown-up rather than frilly. The sleeveless Peony Cheongsam (S$74.90) is the same straight midi shape. If she has outgrown 14Y, our women's cheongsams start at XS.
What sizes do your tween CNY outfits come in?
Up to 16Y in the Ashley Top, Blair Dress and Kodi Jumpsuit, and up to 14Y in our cheongsams, Amanda Top and Nicole Pants. Fitted styles such as the Peony and Drop Waist Cheongsams are close-fitting, so go one size up if she is between sizes.
Can she wear these again after Chinese New Year?
Yes. Nicole Pants come in plain Off-white, Pastel Blue, Light Peach and Red, and the Ashley and Amanda Tops work with jeans. The Blair Dress and Sasha Dress are good for weddings and parties too.
Can she match her mum?
