Guide to Gift Wrapping

 

Shopping for a gift with us at The Elly Store is no sweat at all - whether its a birthday present for a little one, or a gift to congratulate new parents on their bundle of joy - All you have to do is to let us know to gift wrap it, and send it out for you! Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to use our gift-wrapping service at check out!

For starters, there are a couple of scenarios you might experience:

    1. You would like to gift wrap 1 item
    2. You would like to wrap a couple of items individually (Especially during Christmas!)
    3. You would like to gift wrap a couple of items in one box

1. Adding a gift wrap to my order

 

Step 1. In your Shopping Cart, You’ll see a Gift Wrapping section at the bottom of the page. Click on ‘Make This A Gift’.

 

Step 2. Select 1 Box in the Dropdown menu and click on ‘ Insert Gift Message’.

Step 3. Write a sweet little note to the recipient! We’ll print it out on a card and attach it to the gift!

After which, assign your item to a gift box through the dropdown menu.

Click ‘Confirm Gift Wrap’ to add a gift wrap to your shopping cart.

Step 4. Scroll back up and click ‘CHECKOUT’.

If you have any instructions for us, do leave them in the order notes before clicking ‘CHECKOUT’.

You should see a gift-wrapping service added to your cart in the Shipping Details page.

2. I would like to have a couple of items individually wrapped

 

It happens! Whether it's for a family of 3 kids or you're getting Christmas presents and want them all wrapped up, we've got you covered :)

Step 1. After shopping around our website, you’re ready to check out your presents! Here’s the scenario:

Step 2. In your Shopping Cart, you’ll see a Gift Wrapping section at the bottom of the page. Click on ‘Make This A Gift’.

Step 3. Select as many boxes as you would like! For example, If you would like to gift 2 sets out, pick 2 boxes. Click on ‘Insert Gift Message’.

Step 4. Write a sweet little note for each of the gift sets! We’ll print it out on a card and attach them to their respective gift boxes!

Step 5. After which, assign your items to their respective gift box through the dropdown menu.

Click ‘Confirm Gift Wrap’ to add a gift wrap to your shopping cart.

Step 6. You should see the following in the Gift Wrap Summary. Do double check that you have placed the correct items in their respective gift boxes!

Step 7. Scroll back up and click ‘CHECKOUT’. If you have any instructions for us, do leave them in the order notes before clicking ‘CHECKOUT’.

3. Creating a gift set / gift hamper

 

Step 1. Shop away! This is great for when you would like to put together a couple of items into a big, surprise gift for that little Birthday Kid!

It’s also for when you’re putting together your very own baby gift set, they’ll absolutely love your picks! After all, you do know them best! If you need a little guidance, do check out what you can put into a gift set HERE.

Step 2. In your Shopping Cart, You’ll see a Gift Wrapping section at the bottom of the page. Click on ‘Make This A Gift’.

Step 3. Select 1 BOX, as you would like to create only 1 hamper. Click on ‘ Insert Gift Message’.

Step 4. Write a sweet little note for the recipient! We’ll print it out on a card and attach it to the gift!

After which, assign your items to a gift box through the dropdown menu. Click ‘Confirm Gift Wrap’ to add a gift wrap to your shopping cart.

Step 5. Scroll back up and click ‘CHECKOUT’. If you have any instructions for us, do leave them in the order notes before clicking ‘CHECKOUT’.

Step 6. You should see a gift-wrapping service added to your cart in the Shipping Details page. Under the gift wrapping service, items that you would like to put into the gift box should be stated as below.

4. Sending my gift out to the right address

 

We can send your gift directly to the recipient for you! Be sure to key the correct details during check out - Here's how:

Step 1. In the Shipping Details page, kindly provide us with the Recipient’s contact and shipping details.

You'll want to put your email instead of the recipient's, so you will receive the order confirmation and shipping notifications.

Step 2. Choose your shipping method. More information on our shipping can be found HERE.

Step 3. In the Payment Page, the default for ‘Billing Address’ is to be the same as the shipping address. Do change it to your address that matches the payment method you use.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. You have a selection of gift wrapping boxes and wrappers. Can I choose?

Due to the size limits of the boxes we have, we will select the wrapping method which best suits your purchase! This means that it could either be gift wrapped or in a gift box. Not to worry, no matter the wrapping, we'll make sure it is beautifully packaged before sending it out :)

2. I would like to purchase your Turquoise Keepsake Box on its own, how do I do that?

Click HERE to add the Keepsake Box to your cart! Leave your gift message in the order notes and we'll do the packing for you.

3. I would like to schedule a specific date for you to send the gift out. How do I do that?

Do note that we will only fulfil such requests with discretion. You will also have to pick Express Courier as the shipping method, as it is the only method that allows us to track delivery timings. Do drop us an email if you would like us to do so.

4. I would like to send gifts to two or more different addresses, can I check them all out in one order?
No. You will have to create another order if you would like to send a gift to a different address, in order to key in their respective shipping addresses. eg. If you would like to send 2 gifts to 2 different addresses, kindly make 2 orders.
